Raised in Lititz, PA, Ron graduated from Lititz High School and Penn State University, excelling in both academics and athletics. Following university, Ron married his college sweetheart, Patricia Silk, frequently moving stateside, as he proudly served his country as a U.S. Naval Officer. Ron settled in Aspen Hill, MD in the early '60s, where he enjoyed raising four daughters with his wife and a fulfilling career as a Site Planner/Architect, a profession that mirrored his lifelong passions for building and nature. Upon retirement, he embraced beach life in Delaware for 20+ years before returning to the Aspen Hill/Silver Spring area at Leisure World.
Ron dedicated his life to his family, friends, and the meticulous care of his family home and gardens. An active and energetic soul, he loved traveling with his wife and family, playing sports, mastering (DIY) interior and exterior home renovations, singing in choirs, and serving his community through various clubs and organizations.
