Rene Lopez Barrozo, born on May 23, 1944, in Chiclayo, left this world on August 14, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness and joy. Renowned for her love of family and friends, especially during the holidays, Rene's spirited nature was evident in her passion for dancing and laughter, making every gathering a special occasion.

Her personality was characterized by warmth and a welcoming presence, always ensuring others felt at ease around her. Rene’s great sense of humor and her love for helping others were cornerstones of her character. Above all, she was passionate about celebrating life, embracing every moment with an open heart. Her faith was equally significant, as her love for the Lord and devotion to her church underscored many aspects of her life.

Rene had a profound passion for flamenco, an art form that not only enriched her life but also allowed her to connect with numerous well-known artists throughout her journey. She had a deep appreciation for theatre and the arts, and her fondness for spending time outdoors further showcased her vibrant personality.

In addition to her cultural pursuits, one of Rene's proudest accomplishments was fulfilling her dreams of traveling the world, meeting diverse individuals, and immersing herself in various cultures. These experiences added depth to her character and provided her with lasting memories that she shared with those she loved.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Antonio Barrozo and Frecia Barrozo, who carry forward her memory and the values she instilled in them.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, both taking place at Beltway Cremation Center, located at 124 E Diamond Ave, Gaithersburg, MD, 20877.

Rene Lopez Barrozo will be remembered for her incredible spirit, her unwavering love for family, and her joyous approach to life. May her soul rest in peace.
