Please give the family your love and support in honoring Anthony's life by joining them for a visitation on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 11:00 am until the start of funeral service at 12 Noon at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel, 124 E Diamond Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
On Saturday, January 17, 2026, Anthony Garland Robb, son of David G. Robb and Naomi Smith Robb, brother to Marcia D. Robb and father of Anthony G. Robb, II left his earthly home peacefully after a long battle with an illness.
Anthony was devoted to family. He loved cookouts and good food. His favorite question to the family was "Are we having a cookout?". As a sports fanatic, Anthony was a lifelong Washington Redskins/Commanders fan and a big fan of LeBron James. Anthony was a true sports guy and always wanted to play a game of basketball with his son, his nephews Dominique and Javontae and his cousin Bumpsy. If football was the topic at hand, he would reach out to his Uncle Paul for a spirited debate.
Anthony discovered love only twice in his lifetime. The love began with Shaina Fortune, the mother of his only child. He rediscovered love with with Sharon Simmons.
Anthony had a Heart that was larger than life. A Heart of gold measured by his willingness to do for family. His smile and enthusiasm was known by all. Although his parents preceded him in death, he sadly leaves many relatives to cherish the fond memories; his son, Anthony G. Robb,II; sister, Marcia D. Robb; nephews, Dominique and Javontae; Aunt Rosemary (Paul); Uncles Harold, John, Roger, and Steve; cousin, Bumpsy (Lisa); Great Aunts, Mary Jane and Sylvia(Cecil); and many, many cousins.
We invite you to join us honoring Anthony’s life on this dedicated webpage. Your condolences, stories, videos and pictures will be cherished by the family and provide comfort during this difficult time.
